A little help with saving links, organizing your folders, and getting back to the things you love.
Save your first link
- Open a webpage or post in the app you’re using.
- Tap Share. Some apps show a second Share to option.
- Select URL Nest from your phone’s share menu.
- Review the title, choose a folder, add optional notes, and tap Save.
You can also open URL Nest, tap Save a link, and paste a URL. If a valid URL is already on your clipboard, the app can fill it in when you open the form.
Common questions
URL Nest isn’t in the share menu.
Scroll through the app row in the system share sheet and tap More. Look for URL Nest and add it to your favorites if available. Make sure you have installed URL Nest itself; Expo Go does not include its native share extension.
Why does a link have no thumbnail or suggested title?
Some websites restrict previews or require a login. You can still save the link, enter your own title, and add notes. A saved link does not guarantee that its original content will remain available.
How do I edit or organize a saved link?
Tap the three-dot menu on a link card to edit its title, URL, notes, or folder. Tap the star to mark it as a favorite. Use Create folder to add a folder and pick a color.
What happens when I delete a folder?
Its links move to Inbox. Inbox itself cannot be deleted.
Where are my bookmarks stored?
Your library is stored locally on your device. URL Nest currently has no account, cloud sync, or in-app backup. Deleting the app may delete your saved library.
A link opens another app that stops responding.
Close and reopen the destination app, and check that you’re using the latest URL Nest build. If the problem continues, contact support with your device model, iOS version, URL Nest version, and the steps that trigger it. Avoid deleting URL Nest as a troubleshooting step because your library is stored locally.
Does URL Nest download videos or articles?
No. URL Nest saves bookmarks and opens the original URL. The source may require internet access or its own account.
